Elegant Autumn Wedding For Jonathan & Louise At Eaves Hall
Eaves Hall in Lancashire is such a beautiful wedding venue set within the heart of the Ribble Valley. It has numerous large landscaped gardens which are tiered below the Georgian mansion, it ultimately takes your breath away and as a wedding venue it really does have the wow factor.
Jonathan and Louise booked me to capture their wedding photography a while ago and I knew from the first time we chatted that Louise was keen to make sure that autumn and the autumn colours played a massive part in their wedding. Louise had styled her wedding perfectly for the season, her bouquet, the buttonholes, the bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen suits all matched the theme with elements of red, shades of purple and navy, truly stunning!
Church Service In Haslingden
Jonathan and Louise were married at their local church, St Marie’s in Haslingden, they had a lovely service with lots of personal touches from friends and relatives giving readings and singing and a choir who sounded amazing. On the wedding morning rain had been falling and it didn’t stop unfortunately, the couple were keen to still have their confetti shot at church, so once all the formalities were complete the newlyweds were showered in red coloured petals complete with guests and umbrellas before heading on to Eaves Hall in vintage wedding cars from Malvern.
Wedding Reception At Eaves Hall
As the guests arrived at the venue they were welcomed with a prosecco drinks reception and canapés. Eaves Hall has amazing grounds for family portraits, equally the mansion itself makes a gorgeous backdrop. Part way through the group pictures, the heavens opened and so the remaining groups were completed under the canopy area just to the entrance to the building. A perfect venue come rain or shine!
Couples Portraits In Eaves Halls Gardens
Jonathan and Louise wanted natural and relaxed portraits, Louise had one specific request which was a night time couples portrait outside Eaves Hall which was great fun to do! Autumn and Winter weddings mean that night -time portraits can easily be achieved if wanted, as the darker skies provide the backdrop. The gardens looked truly stunning with so many red and orange tones, it is easy to see why Autumn is loved by so many wedding couples. After a walk around the grounds it was time for the wedding meal and speeches before the evening reception where the newlyweds and their guests were entertained by band The Maverick Rejects.
Jonathan and Louise thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer, I had a fabulous day!
Love Laura xx
