Wedding At The Elizabethan Suite - Bury Town Hall Photography
Lisa & Gareth Got Married At Bury Town Hall - Bury Wedding Photographer
Roll back to the beginning of June and the very start of the country’s epic heatwave! It was Lisa and Gareth’s wedding day and I was super excited to be sharing it with them both as their wedding photographer!! They were married at their local family church and then we all headed over to the Elizabethan Suites at Bury Town Hall to celebrate their wedding breakfast.
I met up with Lisa for bridal preparations, Lisa was so excited, the champagne was flowing and Lisa’s dad was adding a gorgeous flower heart to the wedding car!! I spent sometime taking detail shots of Lisa’s beautiful fishtail gown, flowers, shoes and jewellery before joining the rest of the bridal party for some getting ready shots. I’m a bit of a softie and I always love to capture the first look for brides and their families, well talk about emotional…..Lisa’s dad could not contain his happy tears when he saw her for the very time, it was a very special moment. My second photographer for the day, Jane from Daisychain Photography was with Gareth to capture some getting ready details.
I joined Gareth at the church to wait for his bride to arrive, he was so happy and really excited to see Lisa. Lisa and Gareth were both very emotional when they met each other at the altar, they had such a lovely wedding service. Their family vicar was totally amazing and was so happy for the couple that she was able to perform the ceremony as she was also a family friend. In - front of all their family and friends they were married. Before heading to the wedding venue, Lisa asked if I would be able to take some very special photographs of her family with her grandma who couldn’t attend the wedding breakfast. I was only to happy to help, I captured some lovely natural moments with grandma and her granddaughters before completing some very quick family group shots.
The Elizabethan Suites at Bury Town Hall played host to this lovely couples big day and the venue is truly stunning. Lisa had styled the room with blossom trees, fairy lights and lots of flowers. After the drinks reception we headed down to the war memorial for some family group photographs and then I whisked the couple away for some portraits. I love to try and be creative during portraits, shooting through foliage, shooting down buildings - always just trying to add a different dimension to the portraits. Lisa and Gareth rocked their portrait session and we were so lucky with the weather, a torrential rain shower started just as we finished!
Lisa and Gareth thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer I really enjoyed being apart of your day and getting to know both of your families. I’ve chosen some of my favourite images which I hope tell the story of your beautiful day!
