A Beautiful Intimate Ceremony In Darwen Followed By A Reception In The Ribble Valley!!

Simon and Krysia got married on Saturday and it was a stunning Lancashire wedding. These two lovely people are genuinely the nicest people you could ever wish to meet, and they did nothing but laugh all day!! I arrived early in the morning to capture all the bridal preparations, Louise from (LouMac MUA) was already at the girlie room and making the bridesmaids look all glam before starting on bride, Krysia. Lou is so good at what she does, and as we’ve worked together lots before she knows exactly what I like to photograph during bridal makeup picture time, winner!!

My second photographer Gemma was with Simon photographing some groom preparations! Before leaving for the church Krysia and her bridesmaids had some very quick pictures taken with the blue VW Campervan chosen by the couple from Neil at Coach House Limousines. I do love the VW Campervans, they are super stylish and make a unique backdrop for portraits!!

Once married the new Mr and Mrs Acton, headed back to the venue to celebrate their wedding with all their family and friends. The Higher Trapp Country Hotel is a stunning wedding location, it has the most beautiful grounds and gardens. There is always something new and unique to photograph, plus the staff are excellent and really care about their wedding guests.

The wedding breakfast room was styled in blush pink tones and lots of flowers and candles which matched the cake beautifully. A three tiered cake with white fondant and fresh flowers, made by the grooms aunt.

Simon and Krysia finished their wedding celebrations off with a sparkler walk before their first dance. Sparkler walks are always exciting and create lovely portraits, we always have to be careful of the wedding dress though!!
