Mick & Libby Said I Do
I do love my job as a Lancashire wedding photographer, how could I not when I get to spend a number of my weekends with awesome couples and their families on one of the most important days of their lives!! Mick and Libby got married at the beginning of April at the The Stables Country Club in Bury, Lancashire. I love this venue as it really does have gorgeous grounds and quirky little spots for portraits, plus the wedding team really look after you! Mick and Libby's wedding was full of colour, laughter and most importantly - love. I've never seen a groom as happy as Mick was on his wedding day, he literally didn't stop smiling all day!!
Groom Preparations
Mick and Libby are truly perfect for each other, from the moment I met up with them to discuss their wedding I could see how in love they were, and how much their wedding meant to them both. On the morning of the wedding the sun was shining and it stayed dry all day. I met up with Mick and his groomsmen and we took some lovely pictures against a fabulous red brick wall!! Mick had been joking all morning and was so excited to marry Libby, when she walked down the aisle the tears just did not stop flowing from them both, it was so lovely to see and capture.
Rainbow Coloured Table Settings
Libby looked every inch the radiant bride with her hair up do, finished with dried flowers from Bella Poppy Flower Design and a tea length lace wedding dress. Mick and his groomsmen wore matching royal blue suits and waistcoats with the addition of dickie bow ties. The styling of their wedding was simple and elegant, each table was dressed in a separate colour of the rainbow with lots of candles and macaroons as favours. One of my favourite parts of any wedding day is the couple portraits, these sessions are always fun and it means the couple get to spend some quality time with each other!! Mick and Libby totally rocked their session and I got some fabulous shots with quirky backdrops!
Cheese Cake For Dessert
Mick and Libby finished their wedding day by cutting one of the nicest cakes (a cheese cake tower) I've seen, before partying the night away with their family and friends. It was a honour to be a part of their big day and I really enjoyed working with my second Jane from Daisychain Photography. My favourite moments are below, be sure to check them out!!
