A Winter Wedding At Stanley House Hotel And Spa

Stanley House Hotel is a beautiful wedding venue, it is picture perfect with the manor house and the open countryside. It is a favourite wedding location for many couples and photographers not only in Lancashire but across the North West of England.

Roll back to a cold Novembers morning and I was at Stanley House for the wedding of Adam and Sarah as a second shooter. I joined Adam and his groomsmen to take a couple of quick portraits and informal group shots outside the manor house, before heading back inside to catch the guests arriving for the start of the wedding ceremony.

Adam and Sarah had styled their wedding in purple tones with lots of flowers and candles, the ceremony room looked really beautiful. Sarah and Adam said ‘I do’ in-front of all their family and friends where there was a few happy tears shed during the ceremony! Once completed all the guests were taken through to the drinks reception to enjoy the celebrations and sample some canapes. We whisked the newlyweds off for some natural wedding portraits, which is literally a walk around the grounds of the venue. With Stanley House you are spoilt for backdrops, and Sarah looked stunning in her backless dress.

During the wedding breakfast meal, Adam and Sarah surprised their guests with a visit from the Singing Waiters, this is always a fun act to photograph as everyone is always happy and laughing at the teams funny antics! After the speeches Adam and Sarah danced the night away with all their family and friends.
