Abbeywood Estate Cheshire Wedding Photographer - Summer Wedding for Leah and Will
Abbeywood Estate based in the Delamere Forest, Cheshire, North West England was a new venue for me to shoot at last year and it truly did not disappoint. A glorious manor house, stunning gardens which lead to open countryside views and the nicest wedding breakfast food I’ve ever tasted!
Leah and Will booked me for their wedding photography back in 2019 and they were really hoping to get married in the beautiful gardens, luckily on the day, the weather was glorious and warm. Outdoor ceremonies are extremely popular and with some clever styling, such as a flower arch, the view you and your guests look at as you exchange vows in the changing light will always be unique to your special day.
Once Leah and Will were married and the drinks reception was in full swing, I took the couple off for portraits. I do enjoy this time, I can always feel a change in my couples, all the nerves and anxiety of the ceremony has lifted and with a glass of chilled fizz, husband or wife in hand and the sun shining, life doesn’t get any better! Abbeywood Estate has lots of different garden areas to explore, from the glasshouse borders, the pool gardens to the pergola walk there is always somewhere nice to photograph. My personal favourite back drop is at the tropical gardens, the abundance of colours and the palm trees are just lovely.
After groups and speeches it was time to get the party started for the evening do, band Lazy Marmalade were on hand to provide the playlist and boy did this wedding know how to party, so much fun to watch and photograph! Leah and Will congratulations once again.
