Meet Sienna - Lancashire Newborn Photographer

I absolutely love my job as a newborn photographer, I mostly cover the towns within Rosendale, however I am more than happy to photograph little newborn's from any area with Lancashire.  All newborn photography sessions take place in my home photography studio which is based in Rossendale.

I'm in love, totally and utterly in love with this gorgeous girl!!  Sienna came to visit me a couple of weeks ago.  Sienna was one of my models for my newborn casting at my home studio in Helmshore. She was 11 weeks old when she came for her shoot, so technically not a newborn...however, we managed absolutely fine with posing her in my baskets and achieved some gorgeous results when she was swaddled in lovely fabrics.

Sienna was a joy to photograph, she never stopped smiling and looking around during her session.  We started with some simple poses on the beanbag which I'd dressed in a lovely peachy pink colour with matching wrap.  The tones really complemented her skin and beautiful eyes.  A few props, headbands, textured wraps and furs really changed the end result of the pictures. A gallery full of beautiful art for her mummy and daddy to treasure.

One of my favourite parts of a newborn session is taking some pictures of the baby with mums and dads.  Sometimes this can seem quite scary for parents and although they might need some gentle persuading to have the photos taken, they love the end result!  For me, this is what photography is all about, creating lasting memories for families.  In doing this the whole family has a wonderful family portrait together and as the years pass, the family portraits get larger. Its lovely to look back on that very first photograph as parents holding your first precious newborn close to you both, nothing beats it!
