Rossendale Family & Prom Photographer

I love being a family photographer in Rossendale, I get to meet amazing families and create lovely memories, at the moment prom season has arrived as so I have been asked to photograph proms which is such a honour.

Roll back to last Tuesday morning, there's torrential rain, grey skies and a prom shoot scheduled for early evening, to say I was worried was a understatement!!  Fast forward a few hours and thankfully (I had been doing a little sun dance), the rain stopped, phew!!  In all honesty I can easily say that this shoot was one of my favourites.  The girls were all super excited, looking gorgeous and everyone just didn't stop smiling!!

I remembered my prom whilst on this shoot, the anticipation of seeing everyone, spending countless hours getting ready, and then there is the DRESS!!  Apart from being a bride, a prom dress is possibly the next most expensive dress most girls (or parents!) purchase.  These four girls had beautiful dresses and all looked fabulous!!

I met up with the girls at one of the parents houses where they were all getting ready, taking individual portraits, group and then family shots.  All the girls then headed of out to the Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa in Accrington to attend their prom.

I really enjoyed this shoot and I know the girls did too, they never stopped smiling which was a joy to see!!  Happy memories created for lovely families!!
