Robyn & Stephen Got Married!

Robyn and Stephen are two of the nicest people you could ever meet and when we were chatting wedding plans and they told me their wedding would be totally themed on The Peaky Blinders, well I just knew it would be amazing and it truly did not disappoint!!

Peaky Blinders Theme

I must admit I’ve been looking forward to sharing more images from this wedding, the details, colours and overall theme are really up my street and with Love Rosie dressing the venue everything looked perfect! Robyn and Stephen had chosen lots of flowers, dressed candelabras with stunning pink hydrangeas, pearls and there were lots of nods to The Peaky Blinders. One thing that was truly unique to their wedding was the cake, it was made entirely of pies!! I’ve never seen this before, but it looked amazing and photographed beautifully!!

Bridal Preparations

I arrived at the Whitehall Hotel in Darwen on the wedding morning to cover some bridal preparations and also to take a few snaps of the guests arriving, I also took the opportunity to get some groom portraits with Stephen who was so excited to be getting married. Stephen and his groomsmen had styled their outfits and looked every inch the 1920’s groomsmen, with flap caps, grandad shirts and pocket watches they looked fab!!

Intimate Ceremony

Robyn and Stephen were married in a lovely relaxed ceremony with all their family and friends watching, Robyn was given away by both her father and grandfather which was a super special moment and an honour to witness. They both said their vows and sealed the marriage with a kiss.

Following the wedding the bridal party headed outside for some formal group pictures in the gardens at Whitehall Hotel before I whisked the newlyweds away for some relaxed and natural wedding portraits.
