Summer Wedding At Stirk House Gisburn For Sarah & Luke!

Do you remember the heatwave of summer 2018? I certainly do, this year has been my busiest yet for wedding bookings and I’m extremely grateful to all my couples, who have chosen me to capture their big days!! Sarah and Luke were married at the beautiful Stirk House in the middle of this heatwave, and on their wedding day we saw the great British summer weather in all its glory!! With lots of sun, dramatic skies and lots of rain it didn't put a dampener on their day and with Stirk House as their venue, it was always going to be a gorgeous wedding!

Stirk House has been on my wish list as a Lancashire wedding photographer and it truly did not disappoint, the wedding team really look after their clients and suppliers. Dave, the master of ceremonies is a total gent who can't do enough for you - a big thank you needs to go directly to him for helping me all day, thank you x

I met up with Sarah and her bridesmaids as they were getting ready and the fizz was in full flow!! Louise from LouMac was adding the finishing touches to the makeup and Sarah looked stunning in her lace dress and rose flower crown. Sarah and Luke's wedding was truly beautiful, with simple styling, touches of pink roses, gypsophila, and candelabras in the wedding breakfast room, Ashley from Luna Blooms had worked her magic!

Sarah and Luke were married in front of all their family and friends in the ceremony room at Stirk House, its a lovely bright room, perfect for wedding photographers! After a short downpour we headed outside for formal pictures and some lovely portraits, whilst the remaining guests were entertained by Star Wars Characters!! After the wedding breakfast and speeches, I took the newleyweds outside to catch a few more portraits. Stirk House has lots of different backdrops both inside the manor house and outside, so it really is a perfect wedding venue for any season!!
