Thornton Hall Country Park is a well established family run business, based in Thornton-in-Craven, which is near Skipton. It has been a firm favourite with my two boys, for a number of years, as they love to see and feed all the animals!! But did you know that it has also just become a wedding venue??! Boasting beautiful countryside views, lovely fresh white walls and a fabulous terrace, this stunning stone building is well worth a look if you are planning your 2019 / 2020 wedding.
I recently had the opportunity to shoot at Thornton Hall Country Park with a wonderful team of wedding suppliers on our autumnal boho bridal shoot!! A collective vision, lots of mood boards and discussions set the theme - berry, golds, rustic, boho.
Thornton Hall Country Park was the chosen venue due to it being so new on the wedding scene and also as it is on a real working farm - it was perfect for our shoot, and I knew that we would be able to find some alternative, quirky backdrops to photograph against.
Two very different boho bridal looks became a reality on the day. A gorgeous champagne lace wedding dress with lots of button details and a simple ivory boho dress, both dresses are by designer enzoani and supplied by Anne Whittaker Bridal Wear . Louise from LouMac MUA created two stunning autumnal looks using berry tones and strong lips. Zoey from Bridal Boutique Hair & Makeup created model Rebecca’s gorgeous hair, bespoke stationary was created by Kirsty from K Designs. Kerry from For The Love Of Cake, designed the berry coloured wedding cake and the overall table styling, bouquet and flower crown were made by Jo from Vintage Winter Weddings. One truly amazing dream team, a massive thank you goes to our model for the day Rebecca Morris.
